Description:

Mostly small plants in clumps of 2-6 flowering culms. Most in flower but inflorescences not mature; hooked hairs on the female spikelets not yet developed. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

Scattered in somewhat disturbed forest with jequitibá (Cariniana sp., Lecythidaceae).
