Description:

terrestrial herb. Terrestrial herb, calyx pale green, petals white, staminodes red, inner petaloid staminodes white, anthers yellow. Occurring as scattered individuals in open sandy areas near standing black water.
Habitat:

"Campina": complex of vegetation types on white sand overlying impermeable clay. Frequent.
