Description:

Erect shrublet 1 m. tall. Flowers nodding, on erect pedicels; corolla greenish white; stamens blue-green. Fruit erect, turning bright orange, piquant.

Habitat:

Mixed tall tropical evergreen forest, on hills with schist outcrops. Partly disturbed. Orbignya phalerata, Hevea, Bertholletia.
