Description:
In May 1941 a large shrub. Alabastrum 5-costate, costae strongly prominent. Flowers pink, with reddish striations in the lower half of the petals or pink throughout. Filaments white, pinkish in the upper half, stigma green. Anthers yellow. Perfect stamens 3. This garden number formerly was occupied by Bauhinia tomentosa L.
