Description:

Tree. Tree 30m x 40cm, outer bark brown, smooth, flaky, very thin, inner bark red, brittle. Petals and base of filaments white, filamente violet distally. On level ground. Photo. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Primary forest, undulating terrain, in places dissected by many small streamsce of Socratea exorrhiza.
