Habitat:

Shaded, N-facing rock houses and ravine with mixed hardwoods (Acer saccharum, Caya sp., Liriodendron , and large Quercus prinus) and Hydrangea understory. saxicolous on sandstone in very dak, very dark overhang where no light goes.
