Old (this year's!) flowering inflorescence with head developing; inner part of spathe purple mottled. Plant foetid. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Scattered plants in floodplain of Bronx River, under canopy of Carya cf. ovata, Acer rubrum, below the Magnolia collection.
