Description:

terrestrial herb. Terrestrial herb 1.2 meters, inflorescences arising from base, spathe white, inflorescence white, infructescence blue-purple. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

Habitat:

Forest on relatively level terrain behind levee, flooded supra-annually. Canopy discontinuous in places, understory with high density of Heliconia and Marantaceae.
