Description:
Stems clustered, forming large clumps, 3 m tall (other plants taller), 4 cm diameter, brown. Leaves 13, forming dense crown; petioles 82 cm long, with spines near base only; blades 99 cm wide, divided into 26 segments, these more or less equally wide. Inflorescences erect, shorter than the leaves, with two, branched partial inflorescences. Fruit white. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
