Description:

Terrestrial; internodes 1-4 cm long, shorter hnear apex, to 2 cm diam; petiole teret, shaprly sulcate on upper part of geniculum; blades coriaceous, dark green, semi-glossy above, the midrib sunken, the primary lateral veins obscure on both surfaces; lower surface much paller; spathe green, unopened. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
