Description:

Arbusto armado, ca. 2.0m de altura; flores roxo-azuladas; indumento ferrugíneo, glandulo-viscoso. Teste fortemente positivo para solasodina em frutos verdes (Bhattacharyya & Agra, 1993). Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Vegetaçao arbustivo-arbórea, semicaducifolia, subxerofítica, com elementos da caatinga e da mata úmida.
