Description: Herbarium sheet of Lecythis zabucajo based on Appun 4 from the Mazaruni River Guyana. This sheet is an isolectotype of Lecythis crassinoda. The fruit is the lectotype and is definitely a fruit of Lecythis zabucajo. There is some doubt that this herbarium sheet does not represents L. zabucajo. These may be the leaves of Lecythis chartacea (S. A. Mori, 15 May 2011).
