Description:

Stems solitary, 0.3 m tall, 14 cm diameter, covered with persistent leaf bases. Leaves 23; ocreas conspicuous, 20 cm long; petioles 135 cm long, with spines for about half their length; blades 82 cm wide, divided to the base into 22-23 segments, these mor.
