Description:

Lax, mounding shrub, branches spreading, rooting; fruit orange.

Habitat:

Open, hardened sand dunes, with Opuntia humifusa, Hedyotis nigricans, Uniola paniculata and Ernodea littoralis.

Sample preserved in silica gel at NY. Merck sample: 2490a root+stem; 2490b twig+leaf
