Description:

Plants long-lived perennial, typically with several or many lax, ascending or nearly prostrate stems, or some plants single-stemmed and more or less erect. Corolla limb small, ca. 6 mm wide, white with yellow fornices. Nutlets strongly roughened on both sides, the margins not in contact, the broad scar somewhat pandurate, with ornate-raised margins. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Rocky, reddish, rhyloitic southwest slope in pinyon-woodland.
