Description:

Hemiepiphyte; stems branching at 1.3 m; internodes medium brown, matte (initially medium to dark green and matte), terete, sometimes sparsely warty in age, flattened just above the base for a short distance; petioles sheathed throughout, sometimes contacting blade, medium green and obscurely and sparsely short dark green-lineate, often becoming somewhat blackened in age, margins incurled; blades thinly coriaceous, dark green and semiglossy above, slightly paler and weakly glossy below; midrib sunken and slightly paler above, narrowly raised and paler below; primary lateral veins somewhat quilted-sunken and concolorous above, narrowly raised and slightly paler below; minor veins fine, close, weakly raised, cross veins also weakly visible; inflorescence very juvenile; spathe green on both surfaces; female spadix green; male spadix white.
