Description:

Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Reddish clay soil of Moenkopi Formation on flats below gypsiferous knobs. Community of Artemisia nova - Eriogonum corymbosum - Ephedra torreyana - Hilaria jamesii with Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, Purshia mexicana var. stansburyana and Thelesperma subnudum. Vegetative cover 15%.
