Beginning at the point along BR 101 closest to the approximate geographic center of the city of Itabuna (-14.7899867 -39.2905426), used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to measure approximately 25 km (25.0000 km) along BR 101 S towards Buerarema. Using Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs found coordinates (final) for the offset. Using Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) again, found the linear extent of the starting location of the offset, the city of Itabuna, by measuring from the chosen starting coordinates alongside BR 101 near the center of the city to the farthest extent of the city (-14.8238842 -39.3119574).
