Description:

Herbaceous perennial, flowers white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

In canyon bottom, in open cryptogamic or sandy soil. With Populus, Salix gooddingii, Ephedra torreyana, Viguiera frutescens resinosa, Vulpia, Fallugia, Chrysopsis villosa, Gutierrezia, Tamarix, Oenothera longissima, Cercis occidentalis, Datura wrightii, Mirabilis multiflora, Physaria newberryi, Astragalus molissimus, Phamnus betulaefolia obovata, Stephanomeria pauciflora, Castilleja linariifolia, Amsonia tomentosa stenophylla, Thymophylla pentachaeta, Hymenoxys argentea, Gilia hutchsinfolia, Gaillardia, Penstemon eatonii, Senecio multiobatus, Fendlera rupicola, Coleogyne ramosissima, Chrysothamnus, Stanleya wrightii, Juniperus, Sphaeralcea leptophylla, Fraxinus anomala, Galium, Oenothera pallida, Bromus rubens, Rhus trilobata simplicifolia, Opuntia polyacantha erinacea, Brickellia microphylla scabra. Locally common.
