Description:

Plant to 1 m tall, fragrant. Inflorescence about 20 cm long. Flowers white, fruits with 4 retrorse spiny hairs at the summit. "Apacin" (Spanish). Used for cooking. For stomach ache, to treat bronchitis.
Habitat:

In a young forest at the margin of the Michatoya River.
