Description:

Stems to 1.3 m long, 1.5-4.0 cm diam; internodes short, semiglossy, medium green; petiole dark green, semiglossy, faintly stiate, moderately spongy; sheathed 2/3 its length, sheath inrolled, narrow-rounded at apex on one side, acute on the other; free par.
