Description:

Tree, 4 m tall. Bark peeling in irregular plates, mottled, the newest bark green, turning orange. Stems winged. Leaves opposite, midrib and secondary veins salient abaxially, impressed adaxially. Buds green, enclosed by calyx; calyx green, splitting irregularly; petals white reflexed; stamens numerous, the filaments white, the anthers yellowish; ovary inferior. Fruits green turning yellow, flesh pink.

Weeds and cultivated plants.
