Description:

Tree, 8 m. tall, 30 cm. dbh, with thick bark rather like that of Qualea dichotoma. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

This is the dominant tall tree of this area of cerrado; larger individuals are up to ca. 13 m. tall and 60 cm. dbh and have broad crowns.
