Description:

Plants erect, ca. 30 cm tall, in large (clonal?) patches, rooting at lower nodes. Corollas light blue, rotate, open at 10:30 AM. All flowers apparently perfect. Anthers yellow. Few fruits present, these barely 1 x 1 cm and completely covered by the accrescent calyx. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile, Fruit.

Chaco vegetation.
