Description:

Flowers violet, berry greenish-white. Spreads by means of its rhizomes, often branching deep below the surface, almost impossible to reach by any usual means & consequently becoming a troublesome weed in some places. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Mostly (exclusively?) found on disturbed ground.
