Location:

Honduras. Colón. 1.8 mi strip on the north bank of rio Guaimoreto between old bridge and opening of Laguna Guaimoreto 4.5 mi NE of Trujillo on old road to castilla. capuchin site east.

Description:

Tree, trunk to 9" diam, bent along ground 3 boles rising, bark reddish brown; leaves at ends arching branches; leaves bring green above, yellow green bellow; venation pale yellow green; inflorescence pale green, corolla pale green, with coral longitudinal striation, turning kight to deep coral; fragrant flowers.

Habitat:

undisturbed mangrove forest.
