Description:

Slender shrubs to 2 m. tall. Flowers with light thick sweet odor; calyx green; corolla with 5 "windows" at base, rusty tomentose in bud, violet in anthesis; anthers yellow. Fruit green, reflexed. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Flat llanos with patches of brush and small trees.
