Description:

Stems clustered, 5 m long, 3.5 cm diameter with sheaths. Sheaths green with yellowish ridges, with downward pointing, flat, yellow spines; knees prominent; ocreas small or absent; flagella 3 m long; petioles 5 cm long; rachis 90 cm long with 63 pinnae per.
