Vietnam. Ninh Thuan. Ninh Hai (Distr.). Nui Chua National Park, near summit of mountain. Alt. 800m. (2625 ft.)

Description:

Stems solitary, 2-3 m tall, 4 cm diameter. Sheaths 12 cm long; petioles 80 cm long; blade 60 cm across with 19 segments, the middle one petiolulate, not split. Inflorescences greatly exceeding the leaves, arching, with 7-8 partial inflorescences. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Forest on rocky s;opes.
