Description:

Species Description - Erect shrub to 1.5 m tall, many-branched from base or along main stem. Leaves imparipinnate; leaflets 9-13, opposite, 1.5-3.7 x 0.5-1.7 cm, oblanceolate, elliptic, or oblong, membranous, pubescent especially on lower surface, the apex mucronate, acute to obtuse, the base tapering, the margins entire; petiolules 1-1.5 mm long; stipules awl-shaped, 2-3 mm long, persistent. Racemes axillary, many-flowered, 6-10 cm long, sericeous; bracts minute, persistent. Calyx bell-shaped, 1 mm long, puberulent; corolla pink, the standard to 5 mm long, wide-elliptic, the wings and keel as long as the standard; style curved, the stigma capitate. Legume 1-1.5 cm long, strongly curved, cylindrical, pubescent, beaked, dehiscent along one suture. Seeds ca. 2 mm long, square to oblong.
