Description:

Spikelets, glumes, seed & bristles approach C. capitellata, but nevervaries from the appearances these specimens frequent in hundreds which I have seen, preserving its slender habit with unchanging uniformity. Scarcely differs from R. fusca. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
