Description:

To 1 m. tall; stems woody, dark green, internodes swollen. Peduncle wine-red, calyx & corolla medium red outside; clayx yellow to red inside. Corolla limb dark red; spur yellow; filaments & style yellow. Young fruit greenish, laterally compressed. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

On slopes in wet ravines.
