Description:

Latin Diagnosis - Arbor circa 20 m alta ramulis terminalibus breviter ochraceo-tomentulosis obtuse hexagonis ultimis plus minusve compressis. Stipulae breves 1-2 mm longae. Folia 6-7 juga axi 22-34 cm longo ochraceo-tomentuloso supra canaliculato interjugis 2-4 cm longis petiolo 7-11 cm longo stipellis circa 1 mm longis. Foliola firmula chartacea viridi-pallida; petioluli 2-4 mm longi terminalis 10-15 mm; lamina 10-17 cm longa, 2.5-4.5 cm lata, oblonga vel lanceolato-oblonga basi inaequaliter subrotundata sursum attenuata acutaque, margine duplicate raro simpliciter indentata crenata mucronibus minutis ascendentibus; supra aspectu glabra sed sparsis vel sparsissimis pilis, costa impressa pilosula; subtus ad nervos hirtella nervis secundariis 11-14 utroque latere prominentibus arcuato-ascendentibus, angulo 40°-55°, reticulo venulorum laxo pro-minulo, reticulo minore piano inconspicuo, superficie minute papillosa viridula. Pani-culae axillares thrysoideae 14-21 cm longae lataeque, pedunculo 4-8 cm longo robusto striato tomentuloso trichotomo-ramoso, ramis tomentosis hirsutulisque dichotomis, ultimis brevibus vel brevissimis. Bracteae bracteolaeque lineares 1-2 mm longae. Pedicelli teneri 1-3 mm longi. Flores pentameri et tetrameri hermaphroditi; calyx expansus 6.0-6.5 mm diametens lobis ovatis acutis 2.0-2.2 × 1.7-2.0 mm; filamenta staminorum 3.5-4.5 mm longa inf erne hyalino-hirsuta; antherae ellipsoideae 1.2-1.3 mm longae 0.8 mm latae; ovaria 0.8 mm longa hispidulo-hirsuta; styli 2.0-2.5 mm longi dimidia parte inferiori strigosa. Folliculi plerumque 5-3 bene evoluti, obovati tomentosi et hispidi immature statu 2.8 × 2.0 mm, endocarpio cartilagineo circa 2.2 × 1.8 mm. Semina ellipsoidea.
