Distribution and Ecology - VENEZUELA. Bolivar: Ptari-tepui, 1600-2000 m alt., terrestrial in woodland, "tepals brown, lip wine brown," December 17, 1952, B. Maguire ir J. J. Wurdack 33857 (this collection, which has an imperfect flower, has narrower leaves than typical and the determination is questionable). PERU (type of Humboldtia cordata) .
