Loranthaceae
Description:

Species Description - Strikingly different from all others and at first glance discernible by its ellipticrounded leaves and floccose-tomentose perigonium. The conspicuous papillae, together with the large stomata, both of which densely cover the two leaf surfaces, make up another very outstanding feature of this showy mistletoe. Although it has been described in relatively recent time, it is rather frequent in Guyana. The perigonium is yellow but the tomentum is made up of red hairs; pedicels scarlet; fruit black; ramules grossly papillose.
