Genus Description - Small caespitose epiphytes without pseudobulbs, with loose, often ciliate sheaths. Leaves 1 per secondary stem, coriaceous. Inflorescences terminal, 1 to several racemes from base of leaves, often distichous. Flowers produced sequentially; sepals subequal, variously connate; petals shorter than sepals, usually transversely bilobed and adnate to column; lip 2- or 3-lobed, the midlobe minute, adnate to column; column short, footless, wingless, dilated at apex; pollinia 2, waxy.
