Description:

Shrub, ca. 1 m., leaves glandular, lustrous green above, pale green beneath, calyx pale green, glandular, streaked with dark red apically, appendage small, more or less erect. Corolla magenta-purple. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Rocky cerrado and transition to campo rupestre, on slope.
