Description:

Shrub 1.5 m. tall; petals pink with a red midvein. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Cerrado. Sloping, rocky cerrado, bordered by forest along stream, and by grassy, recently burned campo; sandy soil with sandstone.
