Description:

Tree, c. 9 m. high, 30 cms. diam. Bark pink exuding deep red latex. Wood straw colour flecked with small latex channels. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

At edge of forest in 'drainage flush' adjoining cerrado on laterite.
