Description:

Delicate, prostrate, bamboo-like grass, patches to 30 cm. diam. Leaves pale green. Flowers in lax panicle. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

Low forest on W to SW facing lower slopes of hill; specimens collected in more open campo-cerrado. In crevices in silcrete outcrops.
