Description:
Long sterile culms hanging down with ends ascending, forming great long decumbent culms down slope, 7-10m long (foliage of this part dead) with immense divaricate simple or sparingly branching branches. Base decumbent, rooting. Wings turgid. Almost pure colony, 10m wide and 5-6 m. deep. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
