Description:

liana. Spiny liana, flowers pendent, inflorescence axes and corolla without purple-pubescent, corolla white within, anthers yellow, fruits maturing red, globose, 1 cm diam. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

Habitat:

Riverside vegetation, mostly on low levees that are slightly above this year's high water mark but probably shallowly flooded some years. Occasional.
