This railway is no longer in use. Georeferenced to 3.5 km (the midpoint of the provided offset range) along the Madeira-Mamoré railway from the approximate location of the Mutumparaná station toward Abunã in Rondônia, Brazil. Using the reference material, Google Earth, and Google Maps - Satellite View, located the route of the antiquated railway between the two villages. Beginning at the approximate Mutumparaná station, used the Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to measure approximately 3.5 km (3.50098 km) along the railway toward the city of Abunã. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates at this offset along the railroad. Used the Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) again to find the linear extent of the starting location (railroad at Mutumparaná) by measuring from the approximate geographic center of the station area to the nearest named station, Trés Irmáos, then halving this distance. Input coordinates, linear extent (4.62296 km), measurement error (0.0005 km), and distance precision (1 km) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius. Added half of the offset range (0.5 km) to the uncertainty radius to account for the added uncertainty of the offset provided in a range format.)
