Description:

Shrub or tree-like habit, 3 ft. high branching somewhat horizontally at the summit. Berries red. Thorns extend on main stem nearly to the ground. Bark gray. No odor to flower. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile, Fruit.

By roadside. Soil honeycomb limestone and sand, dry.
