Location:

Colombia. Antioquia. Along roadway following river, 0-5 km south of Q. La Tirana. Vic. Planta Providencia 28 kms SW of Zaragoza. Valley of Río Anorí in areas surrounding the confluence of Quebrada La Tirana and Río Anorí, approx. 3 km upriver from Planta Providencia. Alt. 400 - 700 m. (1312 - 2297 ft.)

Description:

Leaves glabrous. Stem pubescent. Fruits small (6 mm dia.), green in color and terminal. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.

Habitat:

Edge of secondary forest. Tropical Wet/Very Wet Forest Transition Zone. Rainfall approx. 4400 mm/year.
