Description:

herb. Herb, to 70 cm. Leaves green above with dark green, more or less rectangular spots and dark green around margin; patterened likewise below but in light green and red-purple. Pulvinus yellow-green, petiole green to reddish, sheath red-purple. Bracts green. Sepals green apically; corolla tube white, lobes cream; staminodes cream-white. Cultivated ast Marie Selby Botanical Garden, Sarasota, Floirda. From rhizomes collected in Ecuador by Madison, Plowman ^ Besse 5400. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
