Description:

Scandent shrub. Leaves lustrous dark green above, paler beneath; bracts and calyx pale green, corolla yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Adjacent "mussununga" savanna. Southern Bahian wet forest ("tabuleiro" forest).
