Description:

Shrub to 3 m. Leaves rugose, dark glossy green above, pale beneath, rather fleshy. Corolla cream. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

Habitat:

Restinga by the sea, with strand vegetation progressively developing into scrub and low forest further inland.
