Description:

Tufted sedge, spikelets with dark brown glumes with paler midrib. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
Habitat:

Open grassy slopes with marshy ground; low shrubs & low evergreen woodland in valleys by small stream and in shelter of sandstone rocks. This plant growing among rocks by waterside, stream.
