Description:

Terrestrial herb on slope near stream, inflorescence bracts green, flowers yellow. Inflorescence to 1.5 m long. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Open forest with palms and weak presence of Guadua sarcocarpa, canopy ca. 25 m. Deeply dissected terrain. Many Marantaceae, few lianas. Sandy clay soil. Occasional.
